Pupillage

Our Firm offers 3-5 pupillage slots to aspiring lawyers annually. Our rigorous pupillage program runs for a period of six (6) months and it aims at providing each pupil with mentorship, ample exposure and multi-disciplinary training in the art of legal practice. At the end of the six (6) month period, the Firm offers exceptional pupils the rare opportunity to join the team at Kemboy Law.

Eligibility

To be considered for our pupillage program, the applicant must:

  • hold a LLB degree (upper second-class honors and above) from a Kenyan University or recognized foreign university; and
  • be enrolled in the Advocates Training Program at the Kenya School of Law in its current academic year.

Applications for the 2023 Pupillage Program are now open. Applicants should send the following documentation to the email address below:

  • a cover letter
  • an up-to-date curriculum vitae (CV) highlighting academic qualifications, relevant work experience, extracurricular activities and awards (if any);
  • copies of all academic certificates (primary, secondary and university) and the respective transcripts; and
  • a copy of your national identity card (ID) and a recent passport-sized photograph.
